I’m offering two classes for two different age groups. Classes will be limited to only 8 students per class. Grade range is determined by the 2021-2022 school year:
Creative Writing
Writing class will focus on fun writing exercises, and work writers can do to develop their voices.
3rd-6th grade: Tuesday/Thursday, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., August 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th $55
8th-10th grade: Tuesday/Thursday, 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., August 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th $55
Community Connections
This class helps kids learn about the different ways they can volunteer, helps them find a cause, and shows them how to make a difference, in their community and in the world.
5th-8th grade: Monday/ Wednesday/Friday, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., August 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 14th $120
The High School level class will focus on the San Diego community, and the struggles with homelessness, hunger, animal cruelty, human trafficking, prison overcrowding and immigration here in our backyard. This will give students an opportunity to find a local program they can continue to contribute to, where they can eventually earn volunteer hours.
9th-10th grade: Monday/ Wednesday/Friday, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., August 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 14th $120
Payment for all courses can be paid using Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.
